Baked Pears

How many of you get pears and just have them in fridge for days till they get spoiled?? I do and yes I am very guilty of it. I love the taste of them but a bit lazy to use them in recipes. Most of my breakfasts is oatmeal and I prefer banana in oatmeal, so all other fruits just stay in their place. 

I was looking for ways to eat different fruits and came through this idea of baked pears. I sometimes caramelize pears on pan with some brown sugar and I love it. But this time I used some other ingredients and additives to make it much more interesting. I hope you will like this idea as much as I do and also inspires you to eat more fruit!!

Recipe : Baked Pears

Servings : 4 slices

Vegan | Gluten-Free | Refined Sugar-Free

Ingredients :

2 Pears

2 tbsp Palm Sugar ( any sweetener )

1 tbsp Cinnamon

1/4 cup Soy Yogurt ( any plant yogurt )

1/4 cup Granola ( any granola, our recipe )

Chopped Fruit ( optional )

Process :

  • Cut pear in half and remove seeds in between. Arrange the chopped pears in a baking tray and add sugar and cinnamon.

  • Bake at 350 F for 25-30 mins or till they are soft enough.

  • Remove from oven, add soy yogurt, granola and fruit or nut of your choice. And enjoy them when they are warm!
