How many of you get pears and just have them in fridge for days till they get spoiled?? I do and yes I am very guilty of it. I love the taste of them but a bit lazy to use them in recipes. Most of my breakfasts is oatmeal and I prefer banana in oatmeal, so all other fruits just stay in their place.
I was looking for ways to eat different fruits and came through this idea of baked pears. I sometimes caramelize pears on pan with some brown sugar and I love it. But this time I used some other ingredients and additives to make it much more interesting. I hope you will like this idea as much as I do and also inspires you to eat more fruit!!
Recipe : Baked Pears
Servings : 4 slices
Vegan | Gluten-Free | Refined Sugar-Free
2 tbsp Palm Sugar ( any sweetener )
1 tbsp Cinnamon
1/4 cup Soy Yogurt ( any plant yogurt )
1/4 cup Granola ( any granola, our recipe )
Chopped Fruit ( optional )
Cut pear in half and remove seeds in between. Arrange the chopped pears in a baking tray and add sugar and cinnamon.
Bake at 350 F for 25-30 mins or till they are soft enough.
Remove from oven, add soy yogurt, granola and fruit or nut of your choice. And enjoy them when they are warm!
Hope you enjoyed the recipe! If yes please make sure to comment and share your recreations @theguccha, I would love to see them!
