Matcha Panna Cotta

This silky smooth panna cotta is perfect for any occasion and takes very few steps to prepare. Hope you enjoy it with your loved ones! 

Matcha Panna Cotta

  • Vegan | Gluten-Free 

Prep Time : 10 mins

Cook Time : 5 mins

Wait Time : 4 hrs

Total Time : 4 hrs 15 mins

Yield : 6 - 8 cups


1 cup Full fat Coconut Milk ( or coconut cream )

1/4 cup Maple Syrup ( or choice of sweetener )

1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

2 tsp Agar Agar Powder

1 tsp Matcha Powder ( or I used Alkalising blend from Unicorn Superfoods )


  • Add all the ingredients except matcha powder to a medium sauce pan and cook for 4 mins ( or bring to boil ).

  • Keep stirring constantly to avoid burn smell.

  • Once boiling starts, turn off the flame, add matcha powder and mix well.

  • Now wait for 2 mins and transfer the mix to bowls or molds and place in refrigerator for 4 hrs or overnight.

  • After 4 hrs or the next day, remove carefully from molds and serve with fresh fruits or maple syrup. If bowls are used instead of molds, just top the bowls with fruits or maple syrup!

VARIATION : Separate half of the mix before adding matcha powder and add layers of white and green mix in the mold to get two tone panna cotta.

STORAGE : can store in refrigerator for 3-4 days.
