Energy bites or snack bites are so easy to make with just a handful of ingredients that are healthy and taste great when combined. These Vegan Pecan Bites are so simple to make with just 5-ingredients!!
Ingredients to make Pecan Bites
Pecans can be substituted with any other nuts like walnuts, almonds, etc., but pecans give that warm comforting taste over others like walnuts have a little earthy taste over pecans. Pecans would be perfect in this recipe but feel free to alternative with other nuts you have.
We need very little maple syrup for this recipe so can substitute it with other liquid sweeteners of choice. We get enough sweetness from dates for these Pecan Bites, so in case you want to avoid any type of liquid sweetener, add coconut oil or other neutral oil in place of maple syrup. The purpose of maple syrup in this recipe is to make the blending process easy and also give a touch of maple flavor!
We all know how much difference a drop of vanilla extract makes! it is optional in this recipe, but I highly recommend to use if possible!
Salt can make or break a dish, do you also believe so..? I feel just a pinch of salt in this recipe helps bites to be not boring.
How to make Pecan Bites..?
- Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and coarse blend.
- Check with fingers if the dough is sticky enough to hold shape.
- Take 2 tbsp of dough and make bite-size balls with your hands.
- Enjoy!!

- 1/2 cup Dates pitted
- 1/2 cup Pecans
- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract optional
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
