Oven-Roasted Asparagus

Don’t you think Asparagus is such a beautiful vegetable to look at..? I find it especially beautiful in images!! In this post we are taking about how to make Oven-Roasted Asparagus, a simple recipe but definitely worth to try. As I said simple, this recipe calls for just 4 ingredients..yes just 4!!

Ingredients to make Oven-Roasted Asparagus

  • Fresh Asparagus, when I first saw asparagus in United States I was skeptical about its taste and not really sure what to make using it. Tried grilled asparagus for the first time at a gathering and it was a good impression but I think I love it even more when oven-roasted!
  • Olive Oil or any neutral oil.
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Walnuts ( optional, great for presentation )

How to roast Asparagus in an Oven..?

  • Rinse fresh asparagus and cut off the woody ends at bottom.
  • Transfer to a baking tray and line asparagus in single layer.
  • Drizzle olive oil, salt, pepper and mix lightly with hand or spatula to make sure all stems of asparagus are covered in oil.
  • Bake at 400F for 10 mins.
  • Let cool a bit before serve. Serve with nuts of choice!

Ingredients
  

  • 10 Asparagus
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Walnuts optional

Instructions
 

  • Rinse fresh asparagus and cut off the woody ends at bottom.
  • Transfer to a baking tray and line asparagus in single layer.

Notes

Variations:
  • Use 1 tbsp of lemon juice after bake to add flavor.
  • Add 1/2 tbsp of grated ginger along with olive oil before bake for unique flavor.
